Buses Cruzmar is an intercity bus company founded in the city of Santa Cruz, in Chile. It was created by a group of businessmen of the locality, initially under the name of Sociedad de Buses Cruzmar, under which they started their initial journeys with routes to Santa Cruz and San Fernando.
After a few years, one of the partners took control of the company and, today, it has more that 25 years of experience in the industry. Since 1994, Buses Cruzmar has been travelling the south of Chile, specifically in the Biobío Region.
Thanks to its growth and the commercial demand, the company decided to incorporate special trips and cargo services to institutions and corporations, satisfying the needs of its customers with a broader offer.
The company owns a modern fleet of buses and qualified employees, which allows them to offer its clients a comfortable, safe and direct quality service. Its fleet is built with buses which have two seat types: semi cama and salón cama; both reclining, with footrests, air conditioning, washrooms, TV and DVDs.
From Santiago, its buses depart from the Terminal Sur, where they have their main sales branch. Additionally, they have an encomienda office nearby, also in the commune of Estación Central. Its services in other regions depart from the Terminal de buses O’higgins in Rancagua and from the Terminal Collao de Concepción.
Some of its main destinations include the cities of Concepción, Cerro Alto, Curanilahue, Los Álamos, Lebu, Lota, Cañete, Tirúa and more.

According to the outcome of the national inspection program carried out by the Subsecretaría de Transporte during the first semester of 2019, period in which they were inspected 16 times, the bus company Cruzmar obtained a percentage of infractions of 62.5%. These figures represent an increase of 42.5% compared to the values obtained during the first half of the year.
