About Turbus

The history of Turbus begins in 1948 by the hand of Jesús Diez Martínez when he offered trips between Rancagua and San Francisco de Mostazal on board his bus. Turbus is currently one of the largest transport companies in Chile, offering bus tickets to more than 150 destinations between Arica and Puerto Montt, in addition to reaching the Argentine cities of Mendoza and Córdoba.

Their fleet, which also incorporates its subsidiaries Cóndor Bus, Buses BioBío and Buses JAC, is made up of about 800 modern buses with high safety standards, which provide more than 2000 daily services and offers four types of seats, classic, semi-bed, bed and premium, each with different levels of comfort.

In addition to offering transfer of people by bus, they have trips to the Santiago Airport routes that depart from the Alameda Terminal and the Pajaritos Terminal. We cannot fail to mention the wonderful work they do in the area of parcels and cargo transportation with Turbus Cargo.

Turbus is committed to the development of sustainable and environmentally conscious measures, this is how they introduced the first electric bus to the national market, to provide service between the cities of Santiago and Rancagua. Its buses have Euro V technology that, thanks to its treatment of the emissions of its engines, allows to considerably reduce the emissions of nitrogen oxide and particulate matter.

Its trajectory is marked not only by its years of experience, but also by the constant growth that is reflected in its excellent service. During 2023 and within the framework of its 75th anniversary, the company acquires a new fleet of G8 buses with Mercedes Benz chassis and Marco Polo bodywork. These G8 buses ensure travel quality and passenger safety. Some of the most outstanding features include a reversing sensor that facilitates maneuvering in tight spaces, a proximity sensor that promotes road safety, and a wider panoramic mirror that eliminates blind spots, providing optimal visibility for the driver.

The buses that leave from Santiago do so from the San Borja Terminal, Alameda Terminal and Sur Terminal, while the main office of the company is located at Jesús Diez Martínez 800, Central Station.
