Cerro Colo Colo
Cerro Colo Colo is a mystical site, highlighted by the greenery of its 26 hectares. It is considered a sacred place for the Mapuche people, so it is used as a religious center and where various rituals associated with this culture are practiced.
However, it is not only a Mapuche religious center, Catholicism also has its representation within this hill and an example of this is the grotto that was built, within which is the image of the Virgin Mary.
It is a magical and reflective place where you can be in contact with different cultural representations of the area. You can not miss this.
Arauco Wetland
This wetland was named in October 2020 as a Nature Sanctuary, and with good reason. This wetland has more than 200 hectares and in it you can observe a large number of birds and all the splendor that Arauco has to offer.
Our recommendation is to wear comfortable shoes since access is prohibited for cars, you can only get there by walking on a dirt road.
