About Intersur
The Inter Sur bus company was born in the 70s under the name of Transregional Intersur, making trips from Santiago to the south of the country. In its beginnings, the company had 4 buses to make its trips from Santiago to Puerto Montt.
In the mid-1980s, the company underwent a change and was renamed Inter Sur, and it also expanded its offer, allowing its passengers to reach many more destinations.
Its fleet consists of 2 buses of the Busscar brand, both double-decker with semi-bed seats and a lounge-bed with capacity for 53 passengers.
The parent company is located in the city of Puerto Montt in the Los Lagos Region. Intersur makes trips to the cities of Santiago, Rancagua, Lautaro, Temuco, Nueva Imperial and Carahue.
