The San Borja bus terminal, also known as Terminal Norte, is an intercity bus terminal located in the commune of Estación Central in Santiago.
This terminal, same as the Alameda terminal and the Pajaritos bus terminal, has a direct connection with Metro de Santiago, specifically with the Estación Central exit. Being located in this station, it is next to the mall Arauco Station and the Estación Alameda, the main railway terminal in Chile, managed by Empresa de Ferrocarriles del Estado (EFE).
The San Borja bus terminal is the second most important bus terminal in Santiago. Its services are mainly focused in connecting Santiago with localities in the north of Chile and some surrounding areas like Buin, Paine, Maipo and Melipilla. Aside from this, bus tickets can also be purchased to cities like La Serena, Ovalle, Vallenar, Los Vilos, Salamanca, Quillota, Arica, Iquique, Calama, Alto Hospicio, Copiapó, Coquimbo and more.
