The Alameda terminal is an intercity bus station located in the city of Santiago, specifically in the commune of Estación Central. It receives its name due to its location at Av. Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins, popularly known as ‘Alameda’.
This terminal is owned by the companies Pullman Bus and Turbus, along with the midsize company Pullman del Sur. The three companies occupy a part of the terminal offering its transportation services and connecting Santiago with different localities in the north and south of Chile through Ruta 5; or to the litoral central through Autopista del Pacífico and Autopista del Sol.
The Alameda terminal has direct connection with the Universidad de Santiago metro station, making it very accessible from any location of Santiago.
From this terminal bus tickets can be acquired to destinations like Viña, Valparaíso and Litoral Central with Pullman Bus and Pullman Costa Central; Rancagua and Talca with Pullman del Sur; and other destinations like Concepción, Arica, Antofagasta, La Serena, Pucón, Valdivia and Puerto Montt with Turbus.
